The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is the global body for professional accountants. We are pleased to announce that the Helderberg College of Higher Education’s (HCHE) four-year BCom in Accounting programme has recently been reaccredited with full Fundamentals Level exemption accreditation.

 

The accreditation has the implication that those HCHE Accounting graduates who wish to pursue further studies for ACCA Accountancy qualifications will be awarded the appropriate level of exemption upon registering with the body.

 

The following nine papers at the Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills levels may be applied for:

Business and Technology (BT)

Management Accounting (MA)

Financial Accounting (FA)

Corporate and Business Law (LW)

Performance Management (PM)

Taxation (TX)

Financial Reporting (FR)

Audit & Assurance (AA)

Financial Management (FM)

 

In addition to supporting students to find internships and entry-level jobs, ACCA provides access for their students to the ACCA Career Skills Builder which provides a range of tools to help prepare students for the workplace after graduation. The ACCA Career Skills Builder is powered by ACCA Careers, the world’s largest specialist employability site for accountancy and finance professional which connects students with organizations across the globe actively looking to hire talented and ambitious individuals.
