HELP GUIDE
FOR RETURNING STUDENTS
1. Login to Student Manager (SMP) and click on Registrations

2. Click on Register for modules for your relevant programme. Foundation students continue with foundation and Degree students continue with your degree modules

3. Select the modules that you will be taking

4. Once you have selected your modules, click the Confirm Selection Button.

5. You will be given a summary of the selection that you have made, including optional extras. Students living on campus need to select the R250 internet fee.
Any student can choose if they wish to purchase the R495 MTN internet data package per semester. You must sign up here.
Click on Start Registration

6. You will be presented with the total amount for your selection.

7. You will be presented with payment options
First is Direct Deposit or EFT with the banking details provided

8. The other option will be Credit Card. If this is your option then click on “Click Here” to be taken to our secure online payment portal.

9. When you have made payment (using one of the four payment methods), you will need to upload your proof of payment and click on Confirm Payment Information

10. Your payment will then be confirmed. After your payment has been confirmed, your registration will be activated.
You will receive a registration confirmation email with the subject “You have been Registered at HCHE!”
